Meet Régis Courtin

Régis Courtin is a planetary scientist at the Meudon site of the Paris Observatory. He specializes in the study of planetary atmospheres using remote observations from ultraviolet to radio wavelengths, either from large ground-based telescopes or from planetary probes. He has been involved with the Voyager project in the 1980s and with the Cassini project since its start in the early 1990s. His main interest at the moment is in the chemical composition and thermal evolution of the atmospheres of Saturn, Uranus, and Titan.
