The venue of the training event is located at the Centro de Interpretação Ambiental da Pedra do Sal (CIAPS), located in São Pedro do Estoril, 20 km west of Lisbon. The recommended hotels are in Estoril, three quilometres further west.
How to get to the Hotels in Estoril?

From Lisbon Airport (Aeroporto da Portela) to Estoril
1st Alternative:
A) At the airport take the Aero Bus 1 – City Center
From Airport ( “Aeroporto” in Portuguese) to Cais do Sodré – works between 7h00 – 23h00
Departures every 20 minutes ( after 21h00 every 30 minutes)
From Cais do Sodré to Airport – works between 07h45 – 22h30 (working days), 7h30 – 22h30 ( Saturdays, Sundays and holidays)
Price: 3.50 euros
Bus route:
B) From Cais Sodré to Estoril take the train
Price: 2.05 euros + 0.50 euros ( price of the rechargeable card, “Lisboa Viva”, that can be used for Lisbon public transport network, you only have to buy it once. Afterward you can “add” money to the card in the automatic machines that you can find in subway and train stations.)

2nd alternative:
A) At the airport take the subway (Metro) – red line – “Linha do Oriente” to Alameda, then take the green line – “Linha das Descobertas”, and get out at Cais do Sodré.
Price: 1.25 euros + 0.50 euros ( price of the rechargeable card, “Lisboa Viva”, that can be used for Lisbon public transport network)
Open between 6h30 and 1h00.

B) From Cais Sodré to Estoril take the train

3rd alternative:
Take a Taxi from the Airport to your hotel.
The price can varie between 40 to 60 euros (from the Airport to Estoril) depending on the time of the day (more expensive at night and weekends), and number of bags to carry. It will take about 30 min.
The Taxis can have the color depicted on the picture on the left or they can be light yellow all over.
The Workshop – How to get there?
The workshop will take place at Centro de Interpretação Ambiental da Pedra do Sal (CIAPS) at S. Pedro do Estoril.
You can take the train from Estoril to São Pedro do Estoril (S. Pedro on the following scheme) (3 min ride) and then a 5 min walk to the Centro de Interpretação Ambiental da Pedra do Sal.
